Meet the team

Jeremy Elson

Jeremy is one of the founders of HBUFC. He has started and successfully run a number of businesses across many different sectors. His storytelling, keen eye for opportunity, and work ethic enable him to lead from the front and draw on many years of marketing experience.

J’s ideal Saturday includes an HBUFC win followed by a trip to Mc Donalds…

Harrison Jones

Lead developer and backend specialist, Harrison is fluent in a number of languages that many people don’t even know exist (code).

He’s partial to an Oakhurst Spar cheesestick.

Karien De Lange

Head of design, Karien’s expertise lies in creating visual content, both video and still, that is aesthetically pleasing while promoting key elements of any of the various brands we work with.

Initially Karien had very little football knowledge… we’re proud to say that she now knows and can explain the off-side rule.

Tashriq Morgan

Head of our sales team, Tash uses his personal skills and knowledge of our CRMs to ensure our partner’s customer funnels and pipelines are operating smoothly.

Tash could sell ice to eskimos…

Samuel Scop

Sam has been a player, coach, fundraiser, photographer, videographer, social media manager, kit designer, writer, now marketing manager. There’s not much he hasn’t done at HBUFC, just don’t put him in goals, he might not reach the crossbar…

He and Jeremy recently participated in the Cape Town Cycle Tour on a tandem… luckily he could just about reach the pedals.

Sabbath Gxubane AKA ‘Prince’

Integral to the sales department, Prince’s biggest sales tool is his smile and friendly nature. His tactic: become friends before recommending a product to you, rather than just plain selling it…

His only downside… he’s not the greatest five-a-side player…
